New Technology
If you are into the newest in technology and recycling. You will want to check out these two new items for your home.
I'm getting the MILL for sure. I just got a new 85" tv, so I'll have to put the TV on my Wishlist for Christmas 2030, lol!
1. "Displace" announces a new groundbreaking wireless TV that ditches the remote and sticks to any wall without a mount.
Displace offers a 55-inch oled television powered by a swappable rechargeable battery. Video signals are sent wirelessly from a separate unit. Simply stick it to your wall and start watching! Get more info at www.displace.tv/
2. Nest, presents "MILL"
It's likely you have a Nest thermostat on the wall, now Nest's creator, noting that more than one-third of food in the US is wasted (food being the single most abundant material found in landfills)
MILL: users put food waste - including meat and dairy, items that aren’t normally able to be composted - into a new kitchen bin that dehydrates the food overnight, turning it into an odorless, coffee ground-like material.
Once the bin fills up (about 3 weeks), its contents are packaged up and sent back to Mill via mail....who then repurpose the grounds into an ingredient for chicken feed and sends it to farms. Users pay a $33 monthly subscription fee to recycle their food scraps. Get more info at https://www.fatherly.com/gear/mill-industries-eliminates-food-waste
If anyone gets the TV, please post it and share. Wonder what cool new items are on the way out. I'll surely keep you posted.
